Infusion Pump

An infusion pump is a medical device used to deliver fluids, such as nutrients and medications, into a patient's body in controlled amounts. Infusion pumps can be used intravenously, epidurally, intra-arterially, subcutaneously, and intrathecally. They are used to deliver fluids in situations where a continuous infusion is needed, such as in the delivery of chemotherapy drugs, antibiotics, and pain medications.
