The company offers savings accounts, money market accounts, interest bearing checking accounts, non-interest bearing checking accounts, and certificates of deposit. It provides multifamily residential loans; commercial real estate loans; small investment property loans; one- to four-family residential and cooperative apartment loans; home equity and home improvement loans; equity lines of credit on multifamily residential and commercial real estate loans; construction loans; and land development and acquisition loans, as well as construction lending products. In addition, the company, through its other subsidiaries, is involved in the management and ownership of real estate; the sale of non-FDIC insured investment products; and investing in multifamily residential, one to four-family, and commercial real estate loans. It operates 26 retail banking offices located in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Nassau County, New York. The company was founded in 1864 and is headquartered in Brooklyn, New York.
